Terms of Service
On this page
In plain words: you bring the content and the brief; our team creates and reviews the work. You keep your content. We test the style first, fix mistakes and improve with your feedback.
Your agreement with Upscale Flux
Upscale Flux is a content agency with a team that creates and reviews your work. We edit your footage and create supporting content, including designed images. Video is edited from footage you supply. Creative results can vary; we cannot guarantee personal taste, views, growth or sales.
Your brief, then a small test
Your intake form is our working brief: the vibe, examples you like, avoid list, language and dialect. Please keep it accurate and tell us when it changes. We agree a short style test and its scope in your order, for review before regular delivery. We remember your feedback per client so later batches get closer to your style.
Review before posting
Designed images may contain imperfect faces, details or text. Please review all deliveries for accuracy, rights and suitability before posting. Your quote sets the included revision allowance. If it does not specify a number, one consolidated round is included per batch. Give a short reason for each request. Broken output is redone free; taste feedback leads to a redo, not a cash refund. The Refund & Revisions Policy explains the details.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the content you provide. You grant Upscale Flux a limited, non-exclusive license to access, download, edit and process it to deliver your service. We do not take ownership of your channels or source material. You may use the delivered edits, subject to third-party rights; design elements may not be exclusive or eligible for copyright protection. Public showcase use needs separate permission.
Learning your style
You consent to us studying your public accounts and competitors’ public content to understand your audience, formats and style. This does not authorize access to private accounts or copying someone else’s protected work. Your intake separately confirms permission to edit, study public content and create Designed images.
Music has its own license
Third-party licensed music is licensed for the delivered edits only, within the platforms, channels and uses covered by the applicable license. Do not extract it or reuse it in other edits. Tell us where you plan to publish so any required clearance can be arranged. Content ID claims can happen; send us the claim and delivery details so we can help. If license coverage ends, music may need to be removed or replaced where continued use is no longer covered. Some already-published edits may remain covered. Exact rights, publication timing and limits follow the applicable music license.
Timing and payments
We agree delivery dates in your quote after reviewing your brief and footage. Review, revisions and missing files may affect timing; we tell you about material delays. Your written quote confirms the price, deliverables and service period before payment. Pay by bank transfer, Whish (the team sends a payment link) or OMT, using the instructions we share. A submitted reference requests a review; it is not proof of receipt. Paid access activates after the owner or finance team confirms payment. We do not collect card details in forms or chat.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Your order states the subscription period, included credits, their expiry and renewal date before you pay. Renewal is manual unless you explicitly choose automatic renewal under clearly shown terms. Cancel future renewals by contacting us at support@upscaleflux.com before the next renewal; we confirm the cancellation. Service continues to the end of the paid period unless you ask us to stop sooner. Cancellation alone does not refund completed work or turn unused credits into cash; non-delivery and rights required by law are covered in the Refund & Revisions Policy.
What we store
We store account and contact details, your brief and consents, policy version and acceptance time, source links and working files, face photos or brand assets you provide, deliveries, feedback, discovery requests, conversation messages, private call notes and payment records. We use them to deliver work, remember your preferences, support your account and keep records. Relevant data may be processed internationally to deliver and support your service. Some delivery links can be opened by anyone who has the link; share them carefully.
Retention and deletion
Our default retention schedule is: working files, source footage and face photos — 90 days after final delivery; account details, briefs and feedback — while the account is active, then 12 months after closure; payment and policy-acceptance records — 7 years; backups — up to 90 additional days after deletion from the primary system. We review files for deletion on this schedule, with exceptions for an ongoing request, dispute or legal recordkeeping requirement. Request access, correction or deletion at support@upscaleflux.com. We verify your identity and explain any exception or backup delay. Keep your own copies of deliveries: deletion may prevent further edits. Copies downloaded or shared by others may be outside our control.
Rights, safety and takedowns
Send only content you own or have the rights and permissions to use, including people’s images and voices. Do not request illegal, hateful or infringing content. We may refuse or pause such work and explain the issue where possible. To request a takedown, contact support@upscaleflux.com with the content link, your rights or concern, and a way to reach you. We review requests and may restrict access while checking them.
Responsibility and disputes
To the extent permitted by law, Upscale Flux is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or platform decisions. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees paid for the affected batch or service period. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Lebanese law governs these terms and disputes go to the courts of Beirut, subject to mandatory legal rights. Please contact support@upscaleflux.com first so we can try to resolve the issue together.
Changes to these terms
The date and version below identify the text you accept. We will notify you of material changes and ask you to accept a new version before it applies to new work. Changes do not rewrite the terms already agreed for a paid batch.
